Middlebridge Glass & Rubbers

Middlebridge Ltd utilised the standard tinted SE6a/b glass and rubber Seals.

However the windscreen rubbers available now have a different profile to the originals and they do not fit very well on the inside of the car. TIP; Try and retain your old rubber if at all possible and when re-fitting a rubber a smear of the correct sealant around the aperture may well pay in the long run.

The N/S/R and O/S/R window rubbers are totally obsolete and have been fetching £200 + on Ebay if and when they ever turn up.

Rear hatch screens are available usually from Ebay or through Slice adverts , the things to look for are the heat elements and terminals which can and are easily damaged, most people will find it much easier to replace the whole rear hatch (me included) check the hatch for surface pitting, seperating at the outer metal joint, hinge locating points and the support bracket points

Fitting of a rear hatch is quite easy.

Should you be feeling very flush;

New rear hatches are available from the Marque Specialists (see links) but I believe they are £1,000+
